Tour Itinerary
Start your adventure with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha. Enjoy a scenic drive to Arusha National Park where you'll begin your trek at Momella Gate (1,500m). Accompanied by an armed ranger for wildlife protection, hike through lush montane forests, passing waterfalls and spotting giraffes, buffaloes, and various bird species. Your trek will lead you to Miriakamba Hut (2,514m) for your first night on the mountain.

Overnight: Miriakamba Hut
After breakfast at Miriakamba Hut, continue your ascent towards Saddle Hut (3,550m). As you hike through the moorland zone, you'll enjoy stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding landscapes. Arrive at Saddle Hut and have a packed lunch. Spend the afternoon acclimatizing with an optional hike to nearby viewpoints. Enjoy dinner and your overnight stay at Saddle Hut.

Overnight: Saddle Hut
Depart early in the morning for the summit of Mount Meru (4,566m). Reach the summit by sunrise and marvel at the breathtaking views of the crater and surrounding areas. Return to Saddle Hut for breakfast and rest, then descend back to Miriakamba Hut (2,514m). Enjoy dinner and your final overnight stay on the mountain.

Overnight: Miriakamba Hut
After breakfast, trek from Miriakamba Hut back to Momella Gate (1,500m). Enjoy the beautiful rainforest scenery on your descent. Complete the exit formalities and transfer back to Moshi or Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a final lunch before being dropped off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
