Tour Itinerary

Your bike ride begins with a steady ascent along the main dirt road as you head south through the park. Along the way, you’ll pass families of baboons and blue monkeys, offering a close-up view of Arusha National Park’s lively primate population.

After cycling for about 2.5 km, we take a short 1 km detour to visit the grave of Margarete Trappe, famously known as the "Iron Lady." A pioneering early settler and skilled huntress, Margarete played a significant role in the history of the area. Here, you'll learn about her fascinating legacy before continuing your ride.

Back on the main road, you’ll cycle for another 5 km before turning onto the Kilinga Loop, a scenic 7 km trail through dense, lush forest. This section, shaded by a thick canopy, can be muddy in places, making it the most challenging yet exciting part of the ride.

After completing the loop, you’ll enjoy a gradual downhill ride along the main dirt road for the final 3 km, leading you to the Ngongongare Gate, where your tour comes to an end.

These inclusions and exclusions provide a comprehensive overview of what’s covered and what’s not in a safari package.
