Tour Itinerary
At 8:00 AM, we begin our ride through the TPC sugar cane plantation area, passing by small farms and houses. As you cycle through the sugar cane fields, you’ll also pass mosques and churches, offering a glimpse into the local culture. Our journey then leads us to the nearby rice fields, where we’ll make a stop. If you’d like, you can lend a helping hand to the field workers and gain a deeper appreciation for the hard work that goes into cultivating rice.
Next, we continue through Rau Forest, a natural haven just behind Moshi. As you pedal through the lush greenery, keep an eye out for colobus monkeys with their long, fluffy tails high in the trees. The sounds of the forest fill the air, making it an immersive experience in Tanzania’s wild beauty.
Our final stop of the day is at the old railway station, a relic from the German colonial era. Stepping into this historical site feels like stepping onto a film set from the 1900s, and you can almost feel the bustling energy that once filled the place a century ago. If you're lucky, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro while sipping a cold Kilimanjaro beer at the station bar.
